Before Halloween Celebrations

It’s been a blustery early-Halloweenish day at the cabin with the grandkids, my son Jeremy and his fiancé, Erika. Literally. Erika decorated the cabin for Halloween and pumpkins outside waited to be carved.

The temperature dropped down 20 degrees overnight and a windstorm blew through last night. It’s still windy today. I love how the tops of the trees swish and sway and then the wind makes its way further down little by little. Charlotte and Isaak loved it so much that I had to play it twice because they were dancing to the song. Sooo cute!

It’s a short visit though because I leave tomorrow morning for Beatles Day — Niles 2022 and then Erika and Jeremy must take Jeremiah and Charlotte back home to Cool, California. Isaak already said he always misses them when they leave. One of the major challenges of co-parenting, sigh. But everyone is learning and growing, and it’s getting…
